FIELD VISIT

A field trip was organized to Mysuru Airport for all the Aviation students for a better understanding of various departments, organizational structure, facilities, functional areas and services, layout, etc.

Students visited the Terminal building and the Indigo staff assistant manager, Mr.Prajwal explained about the check-in process and baggage acceptance procedure. Visited the Terminal building the Baggage makeup area and baggage breakup area along the airside

Mr Patil from Indigo Airlines explained Various Departure control systems like how to accept passengers and check in and board passengers. Students were taken to ATC and the Fire Safety team explained how CFTs will be operated at the airside during an emergency evacuation, screening of baggage, and security checks for passengers.
